Overview
RemoteMaid was built around a real operational problem: cleaning business owners need a simple way to find, screen, and approve cleaners without juggling scattered forms, spreadsheets, text messages, and document requests.
The product focuses on helping owners organize the hiring workflow from public hiring page to submitted application to candidate review and approval.
The Challenge
Cleaning business owners often recruit cleaners through scattered channels
Applications and documents can become hard to track
Generic form tools do not support a full candidate review process
Owners need a hiring flow that is simple enough to use without extra training
Cleaner intake needs to feel organized, fast, and practical
The product needed to avoid looking like generic HR software
Strategy
The strategy was to position RemoteMaid as a hiring-first platform for cleaning business owners, not a broad workforce management tool. The product needed to help owners collect better candidate information, review applications faster, and move cleaners through a simple approval workflow.
